Treasury bills/notes (T-Bills) are short term money market instruments issued by Bank of Ghana (BOG) on behalf of the Government of Ghana (GOG). This is a common method used by governments to borrow money from citizens for development purposes. Fixed income securities are a type of debt instrument that provides returns in the form of regular, or fixed, interest payments and repayments of the principal when the security reaches maturity

You can either visit our office at Abelenkpe to complete all documentations or use our client portal services on our website to complete the forms. You will require to give us 2 passport size pictures and a valid Ghana card (a passport if a foreigner) You indicate how much you want to buy and the tenure of security you require. You can also indicate your expected yield
A contract note will be sent via email immediately the security is purchased. Details on the contract notes will be the security ID, maturity value, maturity date and the yield at which the security was purchased. Periodic statements will also be sent on quarterly basis. Alert will also be sent clients via text message at purchase and on maturity.
Trading of treasury bills/notes is open to all Ghanaian citizens, institutions and foreign residents in Ghana and abroad.

Depending on your instruction at purchase, RIFS will: * Credit your account with the full value of your investment * will re-invest (roll over) your investment immediately * Pay interest on maturity and reinvest the principal
As a brokerage firm, investors funds do not sit with us. A depository account is opened for the client and his/her account details is attached to the setup. Maturities are paid directly into the client’s bank account or in the case of rollover paid to the company’s Trust account for the purpose of settlements.
